Introducing Tomi Douglas
Dear Silverton Arts Community,
Greetings! I'm thrilled to be writing to you as the new head of the Silverton Arts Association. As I settle into this role, I'm filled with excitement about the creative possibilities ahead.
First, I want to extend my huge thanks to everyone who has welcomed me so warmly into this vibrant community. Silverton has always been a special town (and my birthplace!) where creativity flourishes, and I'm honored to help guide our collective artistic endeavors forward.
I believe art has the remarkable ability to bring people together, spark crucial conversations, and strengthen community bonds by reminding us that we have more in common than what divides us. Over the coming months, I hope to meet many more of you at our events and hear your ideas about how we can continue to nurture Silverton's rich artistic heritage and connect creatively.
On that note, I’m hoping you can take a moment and complete our 2 Minute Survey here. We want to hear more about what the Silverton Arts Association can do to help you take your next creative step!
I look forward to meeting many more of you in the coming months and hearing your vision for our creative community. My door is always open (pop by and see me during open hours on Wednesdays and Fridays 12-3:00pm) and I welcome your thoughts, suggestions, and creative ideas for partnership.
Happy Spring!
Tomi Douglas
