SILVERTON ARTS CINEMA CAMP
Have you ever wanted to make your own film? To work alongside other artists in a creative studio — one where you can bring your skills and develop new ones in disciplines like writing, sound, directing, cinematography, and editing? Then join us at the Silverton Arts Film Camp! Films Camp short films will be featured in the upcoming Silver Falls Film Festival in August!
Film Camp is taught by local filmmaker Michael Turner, and is part of our summer studio experience for kids who want to be part of a creative production crew, all working together to realize their ideas with the help of professional mentors and teachers! Local comics creator and storyboard artist Jonathan Case will also be on hand to help out.
Michael Turner is an award-winning documentary filmmaker, returning to teach at Silverton Arts after his fantastic Film Camp in 2024! His work includes Monument and The Way We Talk.
Space is limited to 12 students for this camp.
Students who want to be involved in both Creature and Film Camp — sign up for both weeks!
